This is how batteries should be made! April 8, 2008 Nuknuk (Springfield, VA United States) 16 out of 17 found this review helpful
Pros:
-For a rechargeable battery, these batteries does not need to be charged before you use it for the first time; right from the packaging into your gadgets.
-They last a long time. I use it on my portable speakers which has been playing in loud volume for many weeks.
-Does not need special charger. You can use your existing NiMh charger.
Cons:
-You can confuse them with regular Duracells and mistakenly thrown away after losing charge.
-This later technology is still expensive. I got them on sale from Safeway for 11$ Normally sold at 14.99$
I also like Eneloops by Sanyo. But they are not easily available at your local stores.
Much better than Energizer January 18, 2008 LanMark (Aldan, PA) 22 out of 25 found this review helpful
These batteries are great. The new 'precharged' technology is great where it can sit unused for a year and still have most of its charge unlike the older rechargeable technologies. These 800 mAh actually last longer in my noise canceling headphones then the 1000 mAh (non-precharged) of the same brand.
I had previously purchased Energizer rechargeable batteries and found that after only a couple of weeks of non-use they would be dead.. so every time you went to use them they would be useless. After getting these Duracells and also some PowerEx batteries, I realize that the Energizer batteries are cheap Chinese junk. oh, the duracells are made in Japan and are very nice quality.
Anyway I definatly would recommend the precharged Duracells to anyone.
Best rechargeable batteries ever. December 29, 2008 Dan R. Wojciechowski (Chicago, IL USA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Simply put, "hybrid" NiMH rechargeable batteries, such as these Duracells, are the best rechargeable batteries ever created. These batteries will last a long time in demanding uses like a digital camera, yet have a long shelf like so they won't be dead every time you pull them out if you only use your devices infrequently. I've used the AAA and AA sizes and both work just as well. My Energizer 15 minute charger has no problem recharging these batteries in under 15 minutes. If you go through a lot of batteries, these will save you a lot of money as well as not cluttering up the landfill.
Rechargeable Duracell AAA batteries July 9, 2009 H. J. Mobaraki (Los Angeles) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My old Sony and Radio Shack rechargeable batteries were discharging quickly when used on our cordless phone system. Our phone is working great after replacing the batteries with Duracell rechargeable batteries.
I even used regular (not rechargeable) new Duracell batteries and the phone was not working noise free.
Rechargeables - good for your wallet and the earth! June 12, 2009 Holly A. (Massachusetts, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Great for my digital camera which tends to eat through regular alkaline batteries like there's no tomorrow! I'm also using them in our TV remote and our kids' favorite electronic toys.
